Mrs Ekaette Etefia

                       PROFILE/ PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Lady Ekaette Victor Etefia is a native of Oduk in Ikono Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, she is an astute  civil servant in the Ministry of Health, Akwa Ibom State Civil Service, but posted to College  of Health  Technology as a Lecturer. A graduate of Microbiology from the University of Uyo and a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist (Parasitology) University of calabar as well as a Master Degree holder in Medical Microbiology & Parasitology University of Uyo (M.Sc).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Employed by Akwa Ibom State Government as a Civil Servant in the Ministry of Health and posted to College of Health Technology, Etinan as a Lecturer.

• Acting Head, Department of Medical Laboratory Science, College of Health Technology, Etinan ( 2015 -2016)
• Central Examination Officer, College of Health Technology, Etinan (2018 – 2020)
• Deputy Provost, Academics,College of Health Technology, Etinan (2020 – 2021)
• Acting Provost, College of Health Technology, Etinan 2021 – 2022)
• Returned as Deputy Provost Academics after the Appointment of substantive Provost of the college (2023 till date)
• Appointed as Examination Coordinator by Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (2013 -2018)
• Appointed as an Assessor by Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria for Medical Laboratory Technicians Examination 2024 till date .
